Pictures of my Army Field Trip

Here are some pictures from my trip thus far. There are a variety to include time spent in Deutschland, the airbase in Manas and few from Bagram or BAF as its known. The mountains are pretty impressive and the peaks of those to the west already have snow on the peaks! I'll put more up as I get them! Enjoy!

This is at the holding area at Hunter doing what we do best: waiting.

View from the bus in Germany

Me excited to be staying in sweet bunks courtesy of the Leipzig airport

The running track at Manas AFB. Note the snow on the opposite banks

Beautiful pillow case issued at Manas. Thanks Kyrgyzstanis! Or is it Kyrgyzstanians?

In the C-17 waiting (again) to take off towards Bagram

My home for the next twelve months! I got a desk with a rolling chair!
And a hanging rack for my clothes. Who could ask for more?
Sunrise over the mountains. Pretty hazy almost 24/7 over here.

Containers looking west from Px complex. This place is filled with containers.
