The last visit came the day after Travis's family left...my parents!!! We had a short but sweet trip! They got in and we ate a yummy dinner and showed off our new house! The next day we showed them around Savannah and made the trek out to Tybee Island to see the ocean. The weather did not cooperate too well with us, but at least it wasn't raining! We got to eat at Paula Deens, Our Lady and Sons. It was yummy but you could literally see the butter floating! And I am SO glad that mom and I decided to split the Chicken Pot Pie. It was good, but HUGE! The next day we drove to Beaufort, SC and participated in the Tea Party Express. The guest speak was Rep. Joe Wilson. He is the guy that yelled out "You LIE" to Obama. It was neat getting to meet him and listen to him speak. While we were driving back to Savannah, the rains came down! We decided to eat at Sticky Fingers that night, so yummy! It was an awesome trip!
We had an awesome time with all of our family! We are so glad we got to spend some time all together before my better half has to leave for a year! Thanks for checking in!
