The Tuesday my parents were here visiting we received the final word that Travis's date to leave for Afghanistan had been moved up by 4 days! Total BUMMER! Needless to say for about an hour I was a basketcase crying in my bathroom! My family was great calling, checking in, and giving hugs! It was hard news to hear because we had to hurry up and start getting things done. I was so upset because I just feel like it was made real that day. We are so used to not having set plans with the army it was easy to think that this deployment would never happen! But it is real! We are doing well emotion-wise. We know that there is nothing we can do about it, we just want to get it started! The sooner he leaves, the sooner he gets to come home! He has been packing and getting everything together to leave. Hey Mim! You are SUPER cute in that picture! I'm sad that travis' is leaving early, but, like you said, maybe he'll get home sooner! I just love you two and I'm praying for you a LOT! We need to talk soon!. Love you!
