Update!

As many of you have seen that Bagram Airfield was attacked last night. God knew what he was doing when he moved Travis bases for a few weeks. Yes, Travis is still at the French Base. He did get to fly last night but was dropped off before the Apaches were called over to Bagram. As my brother-in-law said it seemed that 'the taliban brought a knife to a gun fight.' Bagram is one of the best guarded airfields over in Afghanistan. I got an email this morning from the Lieutenant Col. this is what he said: "It's on the news pages so I want to make sure everyone back home is trackingon the events here at Bagram this morning.Bagram came under attack this morning- a day after a devastating suicideattack in the capital of Kabul. Suicide bombers, small arms fire, machineguns, and indirect fire were part of this complex attack on the base.
We are all fine and I want everyone to know how proud I am of the KnighthawkTeam. From the TOC, to the local security, and of course the aircrews(especially the Warlord Team) we handled the situation very well and aidedin the destruction of the enemy force and I'm sure saved lives. I'll behanding out some Knighthawk coins tonight to some very deserving aircrews." He asked for continued prayers as they finish the rest of this deployment...5 months to go! Thanks for checking in!
