I made a last minute decision to join my sisters family and their friends in Destin for about 3 days last week! It was blissful and relaxing! I enjoyed every single second...even the cold I came back with! Thanks Sis! :) We saw schools of sting rays from their 22nd floor condo, which was gorgeous! I saw a few dolphins and even a SHARK! EEK! The shark was out while we were at the beach and came and went very quickly, thankfully! And none of us or the kids where playing in the water at the time. But it still made us grown-ups a bit unsettled. The kiddos just thought it was cool and continued playing and riding the waves on the boogie board! The water was gorgeous and there was no sign of the oil spill yet. The city if Destin is just taking it one week at a time! Here a few pics from my trip....my sister will email me more hopefully later and I will add them as I get them!
