Memorial Day is a holiday that I am always thankful for. I am a proud American and a very proud Army wife. I am proud of my husband, a war vet. Both our fathers and his grandfather have all served in the Army and that makes me a proud and thankful daughter and granddaughter! So, I thank all of those who have paid the ultimate sacrfice for our freedom.Home of the Free Because of the Brave!
On another note...Travis is in Bagram the next couple of days getting promoted to Captain! I am now married to a Capt. and I am SO proud of that! He is such an amazing person and he works hard everyday! Thanks babe for working so hard over there! I can't wait for you to come home, just 5 more months...and only like 3 months left until we finally can see eachother on R&R! Hopefully, he will be able to post pictures of his promotion in the next couple of days! Thanks for checking in!
