*Home Sweet Home*

Wednesday I spent the day in the car driving back to Savannah. The drive went really well and quick! That is always helpful. Foxy did not do as well on this drive, she had to get a sedative. I hate doing that but she just needed help calming down! I know some of you may think I am crazy for coming back to Savannah for only about 10ish days or so. But it is what I needed to do for myself! I really do love it here in Savannah. I love being in a city surrounded by military families. When I was getting off my exit to get home I noticed 2 cars on the side of the rode. There was a solider changing an elderly mans tire. That is just what this city is about! That solider was taking time away from going home to his family to help someone out. (Or this is what I am choosing to believe about the scenario I witnessed.) I have a few pictures, but not many, from my 5 day stay with Christian and Baylor while Christy and Jeff went away. The kids and I had a great time. I get spoiled by lots of love when I visit family (in-laws are always included in that statment). I am so thankful for all the love and support that Travis and I have been recieving! It is overwhelming, but I love every single thanks...it reminds me that we are doing the right thing, not that we had much choice! haha! When I got home from running errands yesterday all of our mail was delivered from being on hold. In it, I opened a small package from one of our military mentor friends. She had sent me this little picture that reads :
"Dear Lord, Give me the greatness of heart to see the difference between duty and his love for me. Give me a task to do each day to fill my time while he is away. When he is in a foreign land, keep him safe in your loving hand. And, when duty is in the field, please protect him and be his shield. And Lord, when deployment is long, please stay with me and keep me strong."
This was such a sweet gesture! I love this prayer and the words could not be truer. So, thank you! Well here are a few pictures from making home made Hot Chocolate Christian and Baylor. It was so fun!

I know Baylor looks like she is about to spill but surprisingly we had no accidents and they thought they were so big drinking out of adult mugs!
