Really??

Has it really been a few weeks since I last updated this think?!?!?! July started off VERY slow, but it obviously picked up towards the end! And know it is AUGUST! Phew, 9 months down, 3.5 to go! We can do it! Also, if any of you are noticing our countdown guy at the top of the page, we are now down to weeks! Some days I really need to pinch myself, because I know our trip will really happen, I just don't believe it will. I have started getting nervous about flying by myself for so long, but I know everything will work out! When I really imagine it, I truely get giddy and beside myself with excitment! I really get to see my husband in just a few short weeks! I HAVE SO MUCH TO DO!!!!!!!!!!!! :) Well, as I said earlier, July ended qucikly, I think that had something to do with my mom, sister, niece, and nephew coming to visit. I enjoyed having a couch full of family in the evenings and since they left, it has been too quiet! Travis needs to get home to fill this house with his musical talent! I have missed it!
In other news....I GOT A JOB!!!!!!! Its a small one, but at least it is something and hopefully it will lead to a better job down the road! I gotta start somewhere! I interviewed at our church, Savannah Christian's Preschool and I will now be a Substitute Teacher fot the school year. I am so excited for this opportunity and jobs like these are competitive and hard to get, so I am thankful for the opportunity! I begin as soon as I get back from our trip!
Travis is doing well! He is flying non-stop. From mid-June to mid-July he flew over 100 hours and was forced to have a 'reset' day! (A day off). He averages about 7 hours everyday. Sometimes more, sometimes less. But you know he is loving every second! I am glad he is doing something he loves! He got some brownie points for sending me some beautiful hot pink roses yesterday, they are supposed to hold me over until we see eachother! Very sweet!
Well, I will post some pictures of my families trip! I may do another post tomorrow of all my painting projects I have been up to! Thanks for checking in! (Blogger still wont let me upload pictures...i will try and figure this out!)
