September was the happiest most depressing month I have ever experienced. I was counting down until the begining of Sept. because I knew I will get two amazing weeks with my husband. Those two amazing weeks came and went and I was left begin the countdown to the end. Finally, September finally ended yesterday and today officially marks the 2nd to last flip of the calendar until Travis comes home! SO EXCITING! We are definetly on the home stretch now and I have filled up my month of October with friends and work. Hopefully, it was pass quickly!
In other news, Travis is doing great, other then the fact that his year old netbook crashed and burned without any notice so he has been without, and we have been without Skype! BUMMER! LUCKILY, we have some pretty amazing friends. One of my best friends here, Samantha, has a computer wiz as a husband and he actually has an extra netbook over there and once Travis can figure out a way to fly down to him then he will be able to borrow it the rest of the deployment! Isn't that great?!?!?! We LOVE the CARROLLS!!! But all in all, Travis is doing great! We are super happy that today is October and time is clicking away.
Tomorrow is the dreaded Iron Viper that I mentioned in a previous post. Ready to get that thing done and over with!!! Of course my cool friends and I have made t-shirts (because, although we will be sweating through a competition, we must look good doing it) so we can easily spot eachother. It will be a fun thing to say we did once!
