Happy Halloween!

Last year, Travis was getting home from Ft. Hood Halloween weekend and we threw together a last minute party/piano night. This year, all of us lonely spouses all got together and dressed up! We got all the kids together and we trick-or-treated and then came together for a dinner. It was an AWESOME night! As you can see, I was dressed as Minnie Mouse, and yes, I did it all myself. Next year, I will have my Mickey with me, right Travis?? We had a good array of costumes. In the group picture, we are missing the majority of the kids, but you get the picture. These beautiful ladies, and kids, are what have helped me through the lonely times in Savannah! We all have the BEST time together and we can help lift eachother up. We all only have a few more weeks to tread through before we are reunited with our husbands and the time can't go fast enough! We all know its only a few weeks, but to all of us right now, 1 day is equal to the feeling of one week...lets just say its going slowly and will never end! Keep all the soldiers coming home in your prayers as they travel and reunite with their families. Its a very fun and special time, but reintegrating to family life is difficult at times. Just keep us all in your prayers, I know they will be felt! Thanks for checking in!
