Finally it Snowed!

After waiting for nearly 3 months it finally snowed a couple of days ago! I woke up to go to work and found about three inches on the ground with more falling. Unfortunately the next day saw the sun come out in the afternoon which melted a majority of it, but I was able to grab a couple of pictures before it was completely gone. The weather continues to be chilly during the evenings and tonight the remaining snow has started turning to ice. Nothing much new happening here other than the recent snowfall. The days continue to tick by one shift at a time with the occasional QRF (Quick Reaction Force) days on the other side. I've flown a couple of times over the last two weeks, including two hours last week. Still no excitement thus far while flying, but then again there hasn't been anything exciting going on while in the TOC (Tactical Operation Center) either! No word on when i'll get out of the toc and down to the company level but hopefully it will be sooner rather than later! I hope all is well with everyone back home! I now find myself counting down the days till March Madness with the official end of football season, so hopefully the month of February will fly by! Take care and have a good week!
