You know you married your best friend when...

You can live in a small, kind of smelly, hotel room for 10 days and actually have fun together!
Well, I just got back from my trip to Ft. Hood to visit Travis. We had a great time, minus the bad weather! We were covered by rain and clouds from the day we landed in TX. It was a little frustrating because for Travis to fly the weather needs to not to be rainy and cloudy! :( We really had a great time! While he was working I was able to hang out with my good girlfriends, Etta, and Jen. I am glad that they both lived there, otherwise I would have gotten really bored! :) Travis started his first week with simulators and getting all of his gear issued. He surprisingly was given a 4 day weekend because of Columbus day. He would much rather of worked but we decided to take advantage of it. On Friday morning, we drove in the freezing rain to Houston to visit with some of my family. It was a short but sweet visit! We had the best time visiting with some grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins! The next day, Saturday Travis and I decided to drive to San Antonio to sight see. Before we left Houston we met up with Jordan and Kelly, some good friends from Louisville. We ate a yummy lunch and a great visit! So, then we began our drive to San Antonio. We stayed in a beautiful Marriot on the 27th floor and overlooked the city! It was beautiful! Other than the cold, rain, and wind we had the best time. The river walk is really neat to walk around! We saw the Alamo, marketplace, and San Antonio's version of the space needle.
The Alamo...

Travis had his own street in San Antonio! :)

The view from our room!

It was super windy on top of the Space needle thing! Travis was cracking up at my hair! :)

I didn't want to leave yesterday! Travis was able to take me to the airport. We both were bummed to leave eachother. We both realized that after yesterday we only have one more time to say good-bye to eachother....and that is good-bye for an entire year! We are definetly not looking forward to it. Travis really is my best friend. We can have the greatest time together doing absolutly nothing. We really are going to miss eachother!

We had some good friends of ours watched over the house and little Foxy. Thanks to Bill and Matt!!

Ever since I got home she has been laying all over me...very attention deprieved! :( And now I am getting ready for some family to come visit. On Saturday, Christy and the kids are coming to spend a fews days with me for their fall break! I hear that the kids are SUPER excited to see MIM and the new house! I will miss Jeffy, but he has to work! boo! I will post pics after they leave. Thanks for checking in!
