Lately...

I have actually been really busy lately! After I was home from my Ft. Hood visit, 3 days later my sister and two kids, Christian and Baylor came to visit. We had a great time sight-seeing, playing, and cathcing up! it was great having my sister here and talking about our lives! I loved filling her in on my deployment feelings! I had a little bit of a hard time when they were here because the 'month' mark hit. A full month before Travis leaves and he is not even going to be home for another couple weeks! :( I was sad but super happy that she and the kids were here to keep me sane! When they left, I decided to ride back with them and surpirse my parents, and Jeff. No one knew I was coming except Christy and the kids! I bought a one-way airline ticket back to Savannah yesterday. We had a great weekend together! I'm glad I was able to visit them! I will post pictures as soon as my sister can email some to me! Now, I am preparing for my husband to finally come home for a few weeks until he ships off! As of now, he is coming home on Saturday mid-morning! I am beyond myself with excitment (and he is too)! We hit the ground running with a Company-wide picnic on Sunday afternoon and the Clonch/Sanders are coming to visit on Monday or Tuesday and stay for a week! So, this week I am cleaning and food prepping. Then when they leave, my parents are coming for a few days. Then when they leave Travis and I will have one more weekend and 7 days-ish to spend together alone before he leaves.
Please be praying for us as we prepare to separate. Somedays I wonder how we are going to be able to do it! I have my moments when I don't think I can do it. He is my teammate! He is my bestest friend! To live without him for a year, I just don't know. But I do know. Deep down I know we are strong enough for this and we have to do it! Just keep us and all the other families in your prayers! Thanks for checking in!
