So, today marks the two month mark of leaving to meet Travis for his R&R. We are SO excited! Some days I feel just inch by oh so slowly because we are just ready! I am SO excited to turn the calendar one more time tomorrow. We are almost at the 8 month mark since Travis has been gone which means we only have 4 months to go! Phew! Has this been a long year or what? I have been doing lots of things lately to keep busy. I have painted rooms and organized closets. Its hard work doing alone, but Travis will come home to a very clean and organized house and I jsut want him to be proud of me! (Which I am sure he is!) I have been suffering, with what I call, Deployment Insomnia. I am tired when I shouldn't be and have lots of energy at night. I am trying to force myself to stay on a 'normal' scedule!
Anyways, on another note, I just finished Skyping with Travis and he told me he just broke the
100 hours mark in his flying hours! That is such great news. He is finally in the triple digits and he is beyond happy about that! He will be catching up to his peers soon enough! I am SO proud of him for working so hard lately! He is loving being a Platoon Leader! Sorry no pictures this time, but I guess I could leave with Miss Foxy...she is loving life! :)
