Busy, Busy, Busy!!!

Life in Savannah has begun to pick up! I have been super busy! The job search has slowed down, mainly because not much is really out there, but I still try every now and then! But my calendar has really started to fill up. Next week, Travis's parents are coming to visit and we are heading to a family wedding in Tampa. In April I will visit family for a couple of weeks, and in May I am going to see our great great friends at Ft. Sill, OK! I am beyond words excited to see them, and my (almost) one year old god son! Did I mention I can't wait to see everyone? All these plans are making the time pass qucikly and I know Travis will be home before I know it!

This week I was busy with all my great new friends!! Wednesday was St. Pattys day as you all know and Savannah does St. Patricks Day right...the city celebrates for days, literally! I went downtown with my friend Janice and her daughter Elizabeth to watch the 3 hour long parade...after 2 hours we were ready to leave!
Happy St. Patricks Day!

After we left the parade, we both headed over to my friend Samantha's house. Samantha's husband headed back to Afghanistan on Wednesday morning. He was home for his R&R. They had a blissful two weeks, but Janice and I were there on Wednesday to help her pick up the pieces and remind her how incredibly strong she is, and we will be there to help her through until the boys get home!

And then on Friday, all us girls took the day to ourselves. Janice and Samantha put their kids in day care, and we celebrated Janice's birthday...which is tomorrow. It was all a surprise to her. We did pedicures and had an amazing lunch, just us girls. I think we were all in need of a little quality girl time! We all miss our husbands lots, but have all become eachothers family. We help eachother out no questions asked. Its amazing the kind of bond us spouses have during these deployments. It also makes our husbands thankful that us gals found eachother! At least thats what I think Travis thinks! haha! Here are some pics...

Mimosa's, pedicures, and girl time! The morning can't get any better!

Amazing lunch!

Don't our toes look so pretty!?! haha! I am sure all our readers wanted to see our feet, but they looked so pretty so I had to share! Stay tuned for some more updates as my life really starts to pick up! Thanks for checking in!
